the gtr is nice but it doesnt compare to a zo6 in my opinion............and yes i have driven both!!!

Then to have a fair comparison, you would have to put the "god like" Michelins on the GTR-

To the dude who owns both.....buy some michelins 4 your vette.....I will gaurentee you that the z06 will compete and surpass the little heavy gtr in every way....road course and 1/4 mile time......

I own an 06 Z06 and a GTR. Love them both. Both are powerfull both are fun. In just two different ways. My GTR will run track times that smoke my Z06 (road course and auto cross), but the vette is fun to just "be loose and free". Drag they are close, but the Z06 takes a little bit to hook up.

Okay, so you folks are having a pissing contest over nothing. Does anyone that has posted here even have the means to purchase either a ZR-1 Vette or a GT-R nissan? Doubtful. So they are both very nice cars, and I think most of us could agree to one of each if it were possible. They are both classified as "supercars" not "a muscle car", and can obviously be appreciated by someone who likes a muscle car (note the poster's name. anyway, just like 99% of posts on here; I have no real point to make... or do I.

i like primative.

I like chocolate, you like vanilla...There is no accounting for taste. I am a Vette lover and have owned 2 of them. The GT-R simply outclasses any Vette that has ever been produced. The ZR1 has 150 more hp, double the displacement and costs tens of thousands more...ONE second different on the Nurburgring, not much of a value. Still a cool car but primative compared to the GT-R.

listen, I never said this car was crappy, I just reminded you that the vette is better in all the categories you listed. Unless you were talking about the 30 year old muscle cars that weigh as much as a tank and get 2mpg.
