i think that the f1 cars are to low for the carousel turns

whats the big deal with this track? and dont get all mad and leave me nasty comments, i hear so much about it, but what makes it so popular, and it must be cuz u are all fighting over it haha

It's a safety issue...It's just way too dangerous to have an F1 race there.

LOL...N. Heidfeld is in the top 5 in the 2007 F1 Championship standings at the moment... ;)

The FIA should siriously consider bringing an F1 race back to the nurburgring, and dont say its not possible, if my moms minivan can do it, so can an F1 car, it just takes some re-engineering of the car.

OK, Here's how things went...

Heidfeld, didn't race just the 20.8 KM Nordschleife, but he also drove the F1 track, So he did over 25KM in 8.34 min...

And he didn't have the best setup, so he did like 1.40 over the F1grandprix track...

The actual time over the 20.8 km nordschleife is: 8.34 minus 1.40 or something which means he did a high 6.54 min or something, and that was on a bad setup!....

So he's only 1 sec faster than an m3, yes.... But he drove over 4.5 km extra ( with extreme turns etc...), and had a bad setup :) you guys understand how fast the dude was?? :P

Wonder how much gran turismo they made him play before letting him drive on the real ring?
