My question for the all car manufactures would be "when are we going to see some more euro spec cars here in the us"? We need a change of pace and something to set us apart from all of the other bland cars we see on the road.

What are you guys talking about? Hitting the rev limiter is bad for the car number one. Secondly clean gear changes and smooth transitions into and out of the corners is going to get you quicker times.

good show matt/mike. if i could ask a car manufacturer one question, i would ask ford: what is your point of view on the new camaro/challenger, and what are your definite plans on combating them with the mustang? i am seriously dying to know, and ford isn't showing anything spectacular at the moment.

evltoy 86mike is absolutely correct yea me missed a shift but everyone does that... but if you were to "change gear and accelerate away" when your going into a corner would be counter productive and would slow you down.. it sounds like you need a bit of track time yourself...

86mike, ummmmmm I think you'll find hitting rev limiter drops Hp, ignition (hense the limiter working). Anyone who has been on a track, or in fact simply driven down a road knows you will ALWAYS go faster if you change into the next gear and let the car accelerate away.

Never heard of these guys but they sound like they don'y really know what they are talking about. I mean they say hitting the limiter would somehow slow you down!!! Its quicker to stay in the same gear than to change up for 2 seconds and changing straight back down again. Get some track time!!

Matt Farah and Mike Spinelli discuss how the Viper ACR crushed the Corvette ZR1 at the Ring, how that's still not enough to make Viper important, the designer of the new McLaren supercar, the death of the E92 M3 CLS and what would you ask Bob Lutz?
