your missing the point a663cb7b..... How can you be a bad auto driver? Its simple the corvettes power band is much much more broad and shines in this video. But this is not the only video not by a long shot. The Z06 is one word SCARY. Stock on stock there is very few cars that can piss on it's parade. The GTR just does not fall into those very few cars category.... sorry bub

Both are great cars. Yes!! BOTH!! This is one video with one Z06 and one GTR and one GTR driver(bad in my opnion)and one Z06 driver. This does not speak for every Z06 and every GTR made. The difference that I have found is in the shifting. wait wait wait before laughing. My GTR will shift gears in .2 sec (fastest tranny ever made). The Z06 is a manual so lets just say it takes .5 sec to shift (this would be incredably fast but lets say it is anyway). If you have to shift 3 times in the 1/4 mile that is only .6 sec in the GTR lost to shift, BUT 1.5 sec lost in my Z06. That is almost a full sec difference. This is just one example where it overcomes the power to weight ratio. Plus we dyno'd my GTR and it is putting down 460hp to the wheels stock. Since each engine is hand built, I think I got a good one, but this seems to be typical when I search the web. Have a day, thanks for the complimnets on both cars. Both are fun.

If you own both cars, get in your R35, get a camera and just get propped to watch your Boost/RPM/Speed and go take a drive.

GTR's are not fast. 113-115mph traps are NOT fast. Sorry.

i cannot beleive the gt-r lost like that,let me tell you i have always been an import fan,but you got to handed to the Z06,its beating up everything they throw at it.i believe my next car will be a Z06.

Both cars are impressive with performance,I'd like to drive the ZO6 personnally. As someone else mentioned the ZR-1 I can't even imagine. Just so its not a mechanical nightmare remniscent of the preceeding ZR vette
