Yes the Z06 uses the 427 (7.0) LS7 making 505bhp. The LS3 (6.2) is in the Base corvettes. And the ZR1 uses the LS9 variant with a Supercharged 6.2.

doesnt the 08 z06 sport the LS7 engine? i thought that was why it had all its power. the LS7 is a seven liter V8...the LS3 doesnt make that kind of power. i think thats what the base corvette has but im pretty sure the z06 has the LS7.
