no way speakers way 200lbs, lol my subs box amp and speakers w unit only weighed 165. no car comes stock with subs in a BANDPASS box anyway. besides. cars now days are too hightech. i think its funny how the most fuel efficient v8 in the world is carbeurated.. and has 500 hp. gets something like 138mpg. in a foxbody stang running on ethanol...wtf are manufacturers now days doing.

ondabumpa66, the only fiberglass thing on this car is the hood and thats what comes from the factory. You have to realize that cars nowadays are pretty freaking heavy and there heavy because of all that junk ppl just "have to have". Insulation is about 150lbs the cdplayer and speakers are combined about 200lbs the ac and heater are about 400, it adds up bud.

1000lbs? gotta be a gut job along with some fiberglass and lexan.

NastySS, the Challenger Drag racing pack, is a 3100lb challenger with the 6.1 Hemi wich on a dyno, dyno's at about 465 give or take, not bad, now put some headers and a few other bolt ons you have over 500hp. Not to shabby right?
