I was at my local Kawasaki dealer the other day and they actually had two in stock. I have heard they ae hard to get your hands on but I guess it could be because I live in Maine and there not as popular here as they might be in another state.

If you are wishing to pay way above the 3499 msrp you can get one. I've been looking at it when I get my licence in the states (got a dutch one, but it doesn't carry over). Something that looks like that, does 0-60 in the 7 second range and gets 50 mpg makes a great commuter. But I'll wait until you can pick one up at msrp.
