i was checking back and I just remembered a ride I took a girl for one one of those... I floored it from a 10 mph roll getting on the freeway and didn't let off until 120 or so... it was probably the 15th time I'd done it, but she was absolutely amazed!! :) kinda like I was the first time lol
was I right about the gear thing? hard to see if there is a hitch with a the bouncing haha

Awesome! I like the way you made the video too -- shaking the camera as the exhaust rumbles was a good idea. I'm definitely going to post this video on the TundraHeadquarters.com blog.

those trucks pull from 0-60, 60-80 and keeps going!! trust me i put 2500 miles on one... that 6 speed tranny is the shiz!! and you should see what it does when you turn the traction control off :) auto LSD function is pretty neat too, it uses the abs system to force power to the tires that have traction. kinda like the old four wheeler trick of standing on the brake pedal if you have an open dif only better...
just for the record i think the gear in that one is a 4.10... doesn't look like it has the tow package
these trucks do have a few quirks, but Toyota is working on them and as far as the crank issue goes it was only 50ish trucks and Toyota gave each owner a brand new truck, even the ones that had not broken yet...
GM would have tried to sweep a mess like that under the rug :(

That 4.30 gear helps out a lot down low. Didn't look like it had a ton of pull up top though. not bad though.
Right now at 13.9 I'd say you could run dead even with an 07+ mustang GT, but your still not quite to the point of an LS1 camaro or trans-am.

mikecheat04: 98.8 mph before your mods, so around 100-101 mph now? A 100% stock '05 GT runs 103-106 mph, which means that you only have the advantage on a standing start.
