there was alot of traffic in front of them, why not just have a quick car to drive it fast by yourself.

ya if i was the vette driver i wouldnt of raced either what are you going to race to 40-50mph let off slam on brakes.. so who would be the winner? the guy that didnt hit the back end of the car?? or the one that was infront before he hit the back end of the car??

Reminds me of the high school kids who come up beside me in their stock Honda Civic SI's and various other weak cars (not saying the Miata is weak cause it sounds mean) with stickers littered on their car. Then I just down shift and let them hear the flows and they back off a little. No one knows what the Vette had done to it so no one knows but I don't blame the Vette for not wanting to race on such a heavily traffic street.
