I wouldn't go so far as to call them THE tuning motor of all cars but the lsx series offers a really nice package that can be relatively easily be dropped in to a lot of bodies. 5.7L is always going to offer more than 1.8L.

the point was chevy LS1 motors are the tuning motor today for domestic and import.... ricers don't want their own motors because LS1 offers so much more. I
