Nosfurato, this is what happens when you talk out your ass. The T/C was turned off, or else it wouldnt spin the tires at all. At the time we did this, I had just put new tires on the car so we didnt want to roast the tires off, as that the SLR would blow the tires off down the entire street if you let it.

what it lacks.. (the video) is something that makes sense. A (real) burnout in the SLR shouldn't be that hard to do.. and it SHOULD be a LOT more impressive than that. Or,.. maybe they where trying to show how quickly it could take off.. either way, in my mind.. they failed. Turn the TCS off,.. and try again..
