Some of you need to read up on your GT1. Aston beat corvette at Le Mans in '07 and '08, and in ALMS GT1 the corvette is the only car cuz it's not in the other Aston and the other car makers interest to race in just US, too much effort to travel across to compete mainly due to a smaller market for those cars, americans have an almost obsessive amount of brand loyalty that makes it hard to compete.

LONGGONE the GTR did the same thing. Look up the history of the skylines. Demolished everyone its class so much the gtr's became their own class. HA

..corvette> world when it comes to lemans style GT racing...they killed everyone in their class so bad they wre the only ones left, so now the had to change classes...look out ferrari, aston, and nissan... new kid on the block carry's a big stick

I meant to say that Corvette was a GT3 spec car, but was entered as a "G3C".

Actually that's not even a GT2 class Corvette. It was the only GT3 entry in that race, ran by a french guy, Legnier or something, and ran about 2 seconds a lap slower than the GT2 cars if I remember correctly. The GT-R didn't even finish that race, broke something in the rear suspension I think.

Nissan got crushed in this race. GM is racing GT1 and Gt 2 this sesson both with corvettes. It has dominated GT1 for most of the last decade crushing saleen, ferrari, viper, austin martin, and many many more. Only madza has won Lemans. This video only hypes up the GT-R more.
