I can't wait to see what the GTR will do when it's messed with by some major tuners. I think very little mods could get this beast movin' more than it already does. Both very nice, respected cars, and both have strengths in different areas.

joseph has the proof....they are both good cars. one is a circut car and the other is meant for those long stretches of abandoned highway

I would take them both, the GTR for all-around balance, and the Z06 for it's long-legs-

Although I dont agree with what ANY of those magazines say...Ill agree with your point..but if I spend 60k on a sports car it better be 125 just my opinion.

The right tool, for the right job-

The real world constitutes more than just quarter-mile times. Go get the new Road and Track issue, and you will see how the GTR dominates. If you want a car for trap speed then get a Z06, if you want a car for point to point/circuit times then get the GTR.

real world...just do a search of "GTR" and watch the videos of it trapping 117-119, getting beaten by pullied cobras and easily by the zo6. Real world...its not that fast.
