i have 2 12" sonys in my camaro, it is only my second set of subs but they hit harder than the JL dual tens that they are replacing, and i still have money left over.
how does it blow cuz iz neva blown a sub i got a wal-mart 800 watt 12 and put 2000 watts nd dident blow and it waz in side wit a 128 watt stereo and dident blow
GTI18t, not only have i blown a sub from underpowering it, but so have some of my friends. thas why theres an RMS on the sub . the ERIC dood knows what he's talkin about and no i don't know him, but only about 30% of your sound comes from the sub. the other 70% is the tuning on the amp, head unit, and the sub box. Sony is a good started system but Anyone who wants good sound should have a higher quality brand such as JBL, JL, MTX, Fosgate, ect. Anyone who wants to criticize me or argue with what i say go ahead, i work for a professional car audio business and am around this s##t 6 days a week. i do this for a living.
