ok...white smoke...its burning antifreeze...blown head gasket, cracked cylinder wall, cracked head...take your pick

ure not firing on all cylinders....obviously. u can source the problem easily with a compression check, if thats ok, then ure not gettin fuel/spark/both to one or more of your cylinders

ur timing is all off did u do any major engine work to it.

I think it could be your turbo if it blows white smoke and runs like crap, because my car did the same thing and its the same car as yours. Good luck!

i would take it to a expert. cuz messin wit a car sounding like that and blowing white smoke. something bad is bound to happen

oh, and might i add when his ecu died there was a power surge and it fried most of internal wiring which also had to replaced.

my advice is get rid of the d@mn car. i knew a guy while i was in the army that bought three of those before he learned the hard way. those things have too many problems and they are not worth the trouble. i believe it was his second one where the ecu completely just died. they are simliar to srt-4's, evo's, and wrx's, when they run right they are a blast to drive, but most of the time they have something wrong with them and they are very finicky. just my two cents.
