That sucks!!! I'm on my 3rd set of gears in my 10" and the new gears are starting to whine around 50-70mph. Why put an S-10 rear end in somthing with more than 150 hp??? GM should have been smarter... Good luck with that one. Just dont get it fixed by BJ's Performance of FT. Madison Iowa... they will rape you and then 3 months later you'll wonder why your stuck along side the highway with another broken rear end.. just make sure you take it to a good shop ;) Oh... and I have a stock hp 96 WS6 TA with 3.42 and a 6M. It doesnt matter how much power you have... the rear end just sucks!!!

Hydro... Go jump in front of a Mack truck please.
And are you still using the crappy GM 7.5" 10 bolt rear end? If it blew that's an opportune time to upgrade to a Ford 9". My friend's 2000 SS was running mid 9's, consistently blowing GM 7.5" rear ends. Swapped to a Ford 9", never blew it again.

Maybe you can get a nice car now, like a civic hatchback with integra GSR seats
