People run 8psi on stock compression all the time with no problems. I ran it that way for a while and just recently put a set of stock 6.0L truck heads(larger 72 cc chaimbers). Now I run 12 psi on pump gas with no problems at all, plan to take it back to the track soon and see what it will do. Its all about the tune.

I wanna say I have around 3500 in the setup.The DP is 4" not the biggest but not small either. The intake charge pipe dosent get too hot being its made of aluminum and the DP is wrapped, I was worried at first it would be too hot but its not bad at all.

Holy CRAP that DP is HUGE!!! Its close to your intake pipe, but I am sure the heat wont matter when the air moves so quickly ---
