I agree with the crankwalk part, my engine is in the process of walking right now and my 6 bolt is coming in soon. k20s and k24s are nice and all but b20s only made like 140 hp, better for a b20vtec swap where you get "torque" and horsepower. but enough who knows more about hondas talk.

I agree with some of what you said some DSMs are pretty sweet ,although they are known for crank walk, Also majority of DSM's are driven by females. As for the engine I was refering to the K20, K24, B20. The S2000 actually puts 240 but is also a 2.0 liter rwd engine.

racerx07, what honda 2.0 are you talking about? the s2000? not a cheap engine, and its like a 2001ish model engine. now get a 2001 mustang gt engine for about the same price or cheaper and its 260 hp crank. anyone spending 12k on a 99 or 00 si is a moron or an 18 year old chick. also, 11.36 is a fast time, if your car is faster than thats great but dont rag on his quick time.
in the end, we all drive what we like and can afford. a few years ago i wanted a civic so darn bad, i got a 94 coupe and swapped in a gs-r engine. i thought it was quick ish. then my buddy got a 92 tsi awd and suddenly i hated my car and now a have a 95 dsm and it takes on almost all the hondas and v8s here and there. i raced a 96 modded slowbra last week and stayed even with him till i let off at 120. point is, if you wanna balance power, economy, and cheapness, get a dsm :)

Put all this in relative to cost. Most imported six cylinder turbos(beit single or twin) for the dollar will net you more power usually for way cheaper. One of the tops, lingenfelter twin turbo vette nets what? 1,100 hp? and at what cost? While a fully built turbo six; rb, 2j, or even vg will get you to those numbers at a fraction of the cost. Haha don't even bring in the sti's and evo's into this, as you know they will own in drag racing utilizing 4 cylinders.

I dont think people are saying imports are better than domestics yada yada... First of all 4cyl against v8 two different class cars, But yet Dumbestic owners as your self seem to talk shiit about imports due to personal isnsecurities of some sort. Where does this hating come from, perhaps sipping on to much haterade or maybe jealousy. Whatever the case, why not when you see a respectable civic that is equally as fast as your vehicle or any other vehicle on the road you cant give respect where it is due. Dig deep down inside and ask your self the real reason why you hate and commit these hate crimes on imports.
