musclemustang, so you're saying (by the information you just posted) that a 2001 cobra will beat a 2001 trans am? It's my understanding that a 2001 cobra is a mid 13 sec car and a 2001 trans am is a mid to low 13 sec car, oh and the vids I've seen the T/A wins by a couple of cars every time.

Stats don't mean much to me, but that's coming from a guy who runs 12.15 at 114 with 353 rwhp...

2001 cobra 320hp 317tq from a 4.6=69.5hp per liter and 68.9ft lb per liter
2001 trans am 310hp 340tq from a 5.7=54.3hp per liter and 59.6ft lb per liter

TransAm305.... lol the 305 was a joke motor! Good point Nasty! Put a 5.4L Modular with 03heads/cams on it in a mustang and watch it walk LS1s all day. The whole "they have a supercharger" is lame. They also sport 8.5:1 compression. Drop the LS1s compression down from 10.5:1 and see how much power they make.

TransAm305, Why don't you take away about 68 cubic inches from your LS1 and Race a 2001 Cobra in a N/A Race. $10 Says you'll shut your mouth

Take off those superchargers and use a fair advantage against an LS1.... what happens?
