Cherry bombs sound...weird on 5.0s. That BBK/Pypes sound was pretty good.

i cant believe the differ in just to an h pipe.when i bought my 88 GT it came with factory headers, two cats hollowed out and two cherry bombs.i put all at once big shorty ceramic headers to H pipe to delta flowmasters to dumps.that was a big differ.

Lol, nope. I got the car with an already hacked up exhaust with some knock off OEM replacement midpipe and dynomax mufflers. I replaced the dynomaxes with the glasspacks and then the ceramic inside of my cats decided to break free of the casing and rattle around, so i cut those out. The exhaust hung unbelievably low and drug on every speedbump. I got the Pypes catback for a good deal, and liked the fact it was stainless. I got a stock midpipe for free, put it on, thought it was too quiet, so i put the offroad unit on, and it was too loud for being a DD, so i put the stocker back on and am now running that until i figure out if i want to put resonators on the offroad unit to tone it down or whatever.

I like playing with exhaust setups haha.

When You're Running a basically stock engine, it doesnt really matter too much about the flow numbers. The fact is that sounds like crap. I can live with 1-2 less HP for the difference in sound.
