Like you said, the motor was pretty soft. It never really ran to its potential. My car trapped 96 hitting the fuel cut, otherwise I think it would have been in the mid 100s possilby. But that was with the old turbo. The new holset is tons better. He has bought a dss stroker motor for it, and some really nice heads. So, that will help BIG time. I am sure we will get some vids once he gets all the bugs worked out.

Being honest I have both a TD and a 5.0. I like the 5.0 much more on a DD basis. I don't give a crap what you say, but v8 torque, 26-28 mpg, and a fun high 13sec car. I also have an omni GLH though. Bad fun car to drive, like a go-cart on steroids. It will have a 2.4 and SRT4 transmission here soon, and will probably kill the mustang until I get it's mods on.(both cost money, can only do one at a time) I love the R/T, I have had the chance to get one, but the guy wanted too much for a bad representation. That said, the supercharged mustang does seem to run a bit soft for a 351 supercharged. I also have a 94 lightning. I ran a 13.2 at 101 with a stock motor with CAI, shiftkit, 1.7 roller rockers, 75mm tb and a 125 shot. IN A TRUCK. How do you put a 351 in a 1000lb lighter car, take off the nitrous, and put a supercharger on it, and run slower? You trap at 96, and he wasn't pulling you that bad. Adding a SC to my 5.0 would trap it at 108 . It would kill you, no offense. I agree that TD's have potential, and with your newest mods, you would run with a SC'd 5.0, but what is wrong with the mustang?Chris

My 3 bar computer was not working right so I took it out and put the stock one in. It hits fuel cut if you stay at 13 psi for longer than 5 seconds. It hit fuel cut on me 3 times, you can even hear and see the on about mid way down the track. The same night of the races, I raced my buddys 03 mach one and was side by side with it untill I hit fuel cut at the top of 4th. His car traps 101. I have yet to get a clean run at the track. My best is 14.2 @96 hitting fuel cut twice.

If you're really keeping up against the stang, that is the slowest supercharged v8 car I've ever seen.

The mustang also has headers. The cutout on the on my RT makes it hard to hear how good the stang really sounds. His car is untuned, and we will be an excellent race once he gets his car tuned, and I put my holset on.

my mustang has flows on it but it don't sound like that.
