Response to attackeagle97 ------------

yea that seems to be one of the sti's biggest downfalls - that GODDAMN ecu......they would be much more affordable to make more power had it not been for the ecu being so hard to crack.......from what ive heard the regular wrx's make considerably more power - quicker off of similar mods.....i love those cars and all but.......subaru shoulda made the ecu's more responsive from the factory

Mopar (Dodge) makes 3 "Stage" kits available for the SRT-4. They range from adding upgraded CPUs and injectors to replacing the stock turbo with a bigger turbo, and lots of other goodies.

Stage 1 = 240 HP
Stage 2 = 265 - 270 HP
Stage 3 = 310 HP (355 HP with 100 ocatne fuel)

These are roundabout figues (not exact) that Mopar claims but you'd be better off to dyno the car. If you want more info just go to Google and do a seacrh for SRT-4 stage kits, you'll find plenty of stuff. As for STi stage kits, search that in Google as well.

Stage 3 srt has a bigger reworked turbo to keep very close to the same spool time but move 19% more air. You'll have to ask the STI owners about their stages. Stage 3 srt is bolt on 310 whp some more...some slightly less....if you have stage 3 with toys...in high octane mode it's 355 whp..some more...some less...but as you can see there are a bunch of variations..Some have gotten stage3 with toys numbers out of just a reg stage 3 with other mods some have gotten close to 400 whp without nitrous on the srt.

can someone define "Stage 1, 2 ,3 ,4" im pretty tired of people sayin this.... its pretty stupid...... oh yes i jus got a stage 3 turbo blah blah blah LOL wtf is this??? need for speed??? HAHAHAA and yea with thosse mods the sti would be slower than it was stock... youve gotta tune that thing for EVERYTHING....

if its stage 2 and TBE then i am assuming it is cobb. if it is cobb, there is no reason why it is not tuned? the accesport is included in cobb stage 2. cobb says its about a 50hp gain.
