And the ORIGINAL Lancer, the 1987 DODGE Lancer. Had a 2.2 SOHC and an A-525 transmission. And most people used T3/T4 hybrids on these Spirit RTs at around 17psi. to make about 375fwhp. Mine ran with a plugged wastegate at 40psi with Venolia pistons on STOCK shotpeened rods. Blew headgaskets twice a month but only had one catastrophic failure when I spun a bearing on the number 3. Lots and lots of destroyed axles and intermediate shafts. Good times.

not bad for any 4 banger, atleast its not a toyota, nissan, or a honda with vtak. the 80s to early 90s dodge turbo cars were awesome. daytonas, conquests, mitsu starions, spirits, shadows, dodge/plymouth colts (dont believe they ever came with a turbo, but weigh like 2000-2100 lbs stock), am i missing any, please add if i am. I believe the 3.0l v6 they have in them was designed by mitsubishi

Neither. It's the Turbo III. Used the DOHC 16 valve head made by Lotus for the 2.2L block (Turbo II and I both used a SOHC 8v). The question I'm wond ering is: What turbo is that thing spinning?

Not bad, Chrysler is the only domestic car I would consider getting, but f orget about GM, and I would be insane to write a cheque for a Ford! lol
