I agree with the guy below me. But I don't like the equal length headers. I think that sound is what makes a subie a subie.

ACTUALLY EQUAL LENGTH HEADERS DOES ELIMINATE THE RUMBLE....

he definitely needs to hook up better. 800hp should be easily in the 9's.

Headers do play a major part in the rumble. The major of the rumble comes from the horizontally opposed engine pulses and the noise from each individual cyc taking a long or shorter route inthe exhaust track when they meet off sequence that is what give the boxer the rumble. Also firing order comes into play as well. No one in the Subaru world would argue nothing will take away the rumble more than changing out the headers. I am not saying either is bad just stating what is the biggest contributing factor to the suby rumble.

it is not the headers. Heck, putting equal length plug wires can do away with some of the rumble. Headers shaped like a crazy straw or equal doesn't make a difference. This car has something conquered... from the sound I am getting, it seems to be super lubed and tuned with an overlap just right, a fast enough ecu.Engine acting as one(that has always been a boxer problem). I wonder what the cams are.

I thought 600whp was good... But now 800+ looks like the place to be! Congradulations.
