also, with forced induction, the denser air makes an even bigger difference, and this guy had to be running serious boost

im no expert, but im pretty sure the ice bag and the water spray were just to cool the intake charge, it might help with reliablility, but it also makes the air in the intake much more dense (basic chem), so you have more oxygen to burn with the fuel.

I always laugh when a EVO owner bashes the STi, especially considering the EVO was developed by copying many of the STi's design features. They are both great cars, I just like the STi much better. Great job on the tuning!

@wackyevo8you obviously don't know anything about this and only like to bash on other people's cars...he didn't get 800whp by spraying the intercooler with water, he did that just to cool it off and make it more reliable, something that you wouldn't know about in your EVO....i happen to like STi's and am getting one, but i will not hesitate to say that EVO's are amazing cars and for their own reasons, but to be negative just because you think your car is the best in the world is really uncalled for, take you fanboyism somewhere else, because in the end, both cars(if you really HAVE to compre them) are great cars
