good race of course the FD will win...the renesis it was a good upgrade but is by no means a milestone... it's just a more efficient N/A motor than the N/A 13b, it doesn't have jack on the REW, but that's ok it wasn't meant to be turbo :)

listen to that....ur a dumb dumb....the 7 is lighter and....hmm....theres something about it...oh ya ....twin turbos. minor details... the 8 is N/A.....????

and the fd 1.3 is also a ...hmm....TWIN TURBO!!!! take off those twins and the 8 will kill the 7 N/A vs N/A. 240hp with no turbos is a flop mr FD guy???? i love fds but the renesis motor is far from a flop. its a milestone in rotarys

The RX8 was a flop and should never have been made. Mazda needs to reserect the 7. The 8 was too heavy and is ugly. The 7 was the definition of sports car. msystem761 says,".....fast for a 1.3L."(RX8) But consider that the 7 is also a 1.3L and will kill an 8 all day.

U gotta love teh rottery. Y didnt they ever catch on. With a little more wo rk those could a far superior engine the the typical piston driven engine. Less moving parts=more reliable and less complex.

I agree that forgien cars are better but the rx8 is a RR 1.3 Engine regardless of the special rotary engine its still very fast for a 1.3L.

just goto europe, monsiuer nhra, audi a8 tdi quattro, 325 hp, 479 ft lbs to rque, 4.2 litre twin turbo diesel v8, big car, all wheel drive, huge torqu e, hang right with a chevy impala and get much much better mileage on the highway.. german cars!

the Rx7 is better, faster and alot more then the Rx8
