sscamaro14 is right, no real weight difference the kit keeps a 50/50 weight balance. and an ls1 is a torque monster especially against a 13b. and more reliable for daily driving.

blacksi you need to DO YOUR RESEARCH before bashing on someone for not doing theres when they actually are right... look on hinson motorsports or granny speedshop's web sites... they say that the all aluminum ls1 with the battery relocation kit is the same weight as the 13b turbo with all its piping and acessories... so it keeps its 50/50 ratio...

Unless you have actually have actually participated in a real drift event or practice session and done better (which neither of you have video to prove) then you can shut up.
Lots of people can talk big but the biggest crap talkers are the ones who most rarely ever back it up.

Look another idiot who knows nothing about an LS1 RX7 swap but insists on opening there trap and spilling their lack of knowledge. Wait just noticed its a rotard idiot. Do your research fool, negligible extra weight and no change to weight balance.

"first" Why don't you do some research before you start talking out your arse!
You LS1 adds less weight than a good size chit.
With the Oddessy battery he added, the car actually weighed 20lbs less than stock! It was only his second drift practice and the car traps over 120mph...its going to be a bit of a handful.
"2nd" your wrong also it is better to have good tires up front with crappy tires in back...esp for beginners. The reason people are spinning is from lack of experience. With crappy tires up front understeer becomes a bigger issue.

Well, the first two guys that were going around together were good. But you could tell some people just can't feel their car and have the wrong intuitions when it comes to keeping their car in control. But hey, at least they were learning.

first of all i want to laugh at the idiot with the ls1 rx7. Thats what happens when u put to much weight on the front of a car that is meant to have a midship 1300cc engine.
ANd 2nd. for all of u newbs. Its going to be harder to learn to drift with 18 inch wheels with good rubber in the front and 15-16 inch with all terrain tires on the back. Thats is why the rx7 and 240 drivers with different wheels spun out.
Get crappy all terrain all the way around and start from there.
