and i understand street racing, but you have to know your limit and your cars. even then its still not safe.. dont get me wrong, its still a thrill.

In order for aftermarket stuff to be legal there, the manufacturer has to pay big $$$ to the state of California to be able to put a CARB (California Air Resources Board) number on it... otherwise its illegal and the pigs can strip your car. On another note, I think CARB was also (partly) responsible for GM killing off the EV1. Why? There's no money for CARB in electric cars!
