HAHa I forgot about this vid...i'm the owner. Yeah the gearing is 2 up in t he rear which did in fact affect the speedo. this is a bad MFer I still ow n it but never drive it. This 10r will walk a 99(stock) busa even when my wife is on the back. Even the new gix 1000 or the new 10r can touch it. Bt w thanks zedsled for the heart warming comment

no one is arguing that ZX10's are fast, the point was, the speedo's lie and/or if you change the gearing, it lies worse. And for those that don't have 200+HP bikes, please STFU about fast bikes *neener*

I think i have to raise the BS flag on that one and on a couple other thing. 1. speedo is wrong, look at his rpm's, i think it read 80 or 90 mph in 1st gear, there is nothing wrong with that, but he was only running 7-9k rpm... shoul dhave been readline. easy way to fool this? larger rear sporkcet. alot of speed video's dont mention that the sprocket was changed... (that 220busa video for example, even though his tach and speedo,,, and his shiftpoints per speed are correct, the backface on the gauges is fake) Look on e-bay for "Hayabusa gauge" 2. Hayabusa's in 00-06 where shipped with a 185 speedo, i own an 05. The 220 backface can be added to make it appear faster. While it may look off.. the speedo is still in the same place as it would with a 185 plate.

nope, nothing else to say, other than you're very gullible. Get a radar reading some time, cause I can promise you, its not accurate. Most people don't really have any clue what it takes to go that speed. 5 extra HP and disabling the retard function in top gear isn't enough. Oops...sorry...15 HP. When you're making over 200HP, then we'll talk.

I heard it bounce into the rev limiter....are you suggesting that it comes from the factory like this? Or are you going to sugest that the whopping 5/15hp (whatever) is adding 20mph to your top speed? So dream on.

5HP, 15HP.....decimal point error....sorry. And you're right, riding wheelies at 90mph really is nothing.

I'd guess gear change. ZX10 is very fast (even with his whopping 5HP worth of mods) but they ain't that fast.
