Dodgeturbosrt sounds like an 18 or 19 year old douchebag kid who knows very little about automobiles in general. "It should have cracked 200K"--you fucken kidding me! How in the world do you know how the Lightning has been treated? Maybe it has been used extensively to haul and tow weekend toys, drag race, or DD, etc....You just don't know unless you really know the owner. These dumm kids now-a-days.

My problem is that I like the Lightning but it never came with a stick. Not even a dam option. It just shows how lazy people have become. Also if mods killed it then why didnt it win? Great great setup but all felt lost in that auto tranny, souless even.

dodgeturbosrt- where do I start. Stock bottom end with certain mods isn't safe. Being a NEON guy you should know that. ANY vehicle pushed to the limit can fail- even the SRT RAM whose nuts you seem to love swinging on. Lightning is a great truck- obviously you don't like it since this is the 4th thread I've seen you bashing it. Whatever- everyone has their own preference. Doesn't make the Ram better- it's just YOUR preference.

That lightning and my lightning were neck and neck and i've been 12.8 @ 107 on nittos. The dyno here reads a little lower than most.

Sorry for the Lightnings death but lets face it, dying at 105K is by no means good. That thing should have cracked 200k. You might want to buy a Ram - then you can get a stick. : D
