lol great race, no doubt the is 350 is fast for what it is to bad the engine sucks more d**k to work and has more problems than any ford i have worked on and i can say this cause i am a lexus tech and have had to replace cam gears and heads due to heavy carbon build up but other than that sure there great cars lol

ive driven an IS350 and those suckers will surprise you. its rated to run 13.5 in the 1/4 compared to the mustangs 13.9. if you want a faster mustang for less go with a mach1. My buddy had one with a 100 shot of nitrous and it keeps up with 11 second cars with 315's and a couple bolt ons.

The new mustangs are slow as hell.. Well unless it has forced induction but look at it from this point of view you have a stock V8 putting out 300hp, and a smaller cubic inch stock V6 putting out 306hp? Great job ford engineering, SIKE! I love the new IS 350's they run dam hard and are really nice cars, good kill!

It's obvious these two cars are very SIMILAR in speed. Looking at the numbers and how close this race turned out its really a drivers race. Hats off to the Lexus, it's a nice car but what car would I rather own and mod? I'll take a Mustang GT with a Kenne Bell, bottom line.. It's just funner to drive and has more 'personality' How do I know? I have access to both Mustangs and Lexus in my family. (IS 350 being one of them) I for one have a 06 GT Convertible and the exhaust in and of itself is enough for me to choose it over the Lexus. As far as the IS-F? It's not going to run with a modded sced 3 valve either unless of course you are Daddy Warbucks. BTW, ANY car that can run in the 13s at 100 in the quarter is not childs play and to think that is to be a goober.
