amazing cars! z06 looked great! the diablo is pure beauty though! i had the honour to see my first in person 2 days ago! rare in ireland obviously! it was breathtaking! i expected more from the esprit! was i wrong to do so?

The Esprit has some modifications now but at the time the only mods that seem to be functioning correctly were his HKS SSQVs. He said on a forum that now he has the snow performance methanol kit working correctly and it is way faster than the time of this video. He said he was really close to stock hp levels around 350ish when he ran in this. The ZO6 is supercharged and made 600rwhp...the vette is not a portion of the cost of the lotus. A simple search on autotrader or ebay will show that you can find an 04 esprit for around $60K. New they were $93K. A ZO6 is cheaper than the Gallardo definitely, but still a lotus with the same power levels as this guy in the vid can be had way cheaper than a ZO6. I think that the hp in the Esprits are just really underrated, and a chip and straight pipe can get you to 450ish crank hp. Pretty cheap and fast on a car that is under 3000 lbs! Now if it wouldn't break down haha. Still, I love the lotus ;)

Stock Esprits are faster than a stock Gallardo. An underrated 355hp and 2700 lbs makes a fast car. Gallardos are almost 3500lbs.

All of them are great cars, but i can`t believe that this esprit is stock. The esprit should be the V8 biturbo version with 350hp. But this one looks like 400++. So did the Z06.
