oh yeah and beautiful vette, love the blue/black scheme, but i empathize w/ you not hitting your target, w/ that block (assuming its the lsx) and supporting mods, i'm actually surprised at those #'s. I've seen NA's pull those #'s...so a boosted application should of definitely gotten there.

when you say lsx, you mean you went out and purchased an lsx block from GM's high perf division correct? that's why you said 427 when he asked your engines size, and not the conventional 346 (i think thats what was in the c5 z06)..Dumb question but i just wanted to clarify it for myself.

Ok first of all a Twin Screw is NOT more efficient then a centrifugal. Also it would HARDER for him to make more power with a Twin Screw because they just are not made for peak numbers but for more low to mid range power. You will never find a TWIN SCREW that has a cooler charge temp then a centri either because the A2W Coolers they house in the manifold just isn't enough to keep the intake temps down. They also suffer from HORRIBLE heat soak being anchored right in the manifold. Yes turbo's make more power but they kits for a vette are pretty expensive. Also the only reason TWINS SCREWS are more expensive is because they are more complex then Centris. Twins screws are great for the Cobra's because they needs more of that low grunt because of the added weight but for a vette a Centri or turbo is the way to go. Just look at East Coast Supercharging. They have more Vette's in the 9's with there NOVI then any other supercharger system. Its proven that for the 1/4 a centri or turbo is the way to go.
