ion redlines came with a 2.0L supercharged engine. they stopped being produced in 07. there was never a turbo version.

slowmz3 are you stupid or something or just slow? i know what psi stand for and a s/c and turbo can do 20psi i just didnt know that they new redlines were turbo just knew that they were s/c and at 20psi you would definitely hear that whine from that s/c!

The 08 RL makes 260hp with a turbo 2.0. Any year before that was supercharged making 205hp.

Is the RL the 2.4l makin the 175hp?

Alright my girl has a stock RL 04 Ion and I can tell you that its a bad ass little car. When she first got it I told her i never be caught dead driving it. But I ended up driving it and loved it.

The 2.0 is forged. It can hold a shit load of power. The 2.4 from hahn on the solstice makes 380whp with just a valve spring change, without breaking a sweat. These motors can make serious power. As far as the redline drivetrain, well I can't speak for that, but if it's the turbo version for 2008 20 psi is stock for that motor off the showroom floor. If tuned right it'll handle the 150 hp for a while.
