Turbolexus, sure there are spec differences but the primary design basis released to the North American market is what I was referring to, NOT the Japanese version of the Soarer turbo. If you look through this thread, plenty of people refer to the 2JZ being a "Supra motor". I'm still waiting on some track vids of this SC hooking up!

8secBusa, yeah but the SC300/Soarer never came with a 2JZGTE, in any country the only motors it came with where 1JZGTE, 1UZFE, 2JZGE now the 1jzgte is a mk3 supra motor, but the soarer and mk3 started coming with them the same year.

So many people say the SC300 has a Supra engine in it when in fact, the Supra has a SC300 engine in IT, lol. The SC300 debuted in mid 1991 as a 1992 model w/ the 2JZ engine. The Supra Mk IV was released Dec. 1992 as a 1993 model. -- This is an awesome car! Are there any videos of it HOOKED UP on a track? I don't know if mine will be quite this fast, at least in street tune since I intend to use mine for a daily driver.
