Are rollcage is in case a car starts rolling. This Manta had a good rollca ge, but when accidents like this happen it doesn't matter much. Point of i mpact is often on other points of the car. Civic rollcages are made of tin cans.

Yeah dumba** a well built 'cage would have helped out alot. They are alot s tronger than the sheet metal roofs of cars

No matter how good the roll cage was (and it would have been good to get th rough scrutineering), it was never gonna stand up to that accident. I hop e people don't think that fitting a roll cage to their civic is gonna let them survive accidents like that.
