Correct, and only the LX and EX come with VTEC (which brings power up to 150hp/152tq). The F23 is for the 98-02 generation, and they are pretty quick (compared to other 4 cylinders in the competition at the time) but as far as upgrade potential, it falls short. You'll want an engine swap if you want to get real power. However, one great thing about these is just an intake makes them sound very deep. And it adds decent power, because the stock intake is pretty restrictive.

yea thats the right bout the s2000 but this is a different f series it comes in almost all accord besides the v6's and its a sohc istead of the s2000's dohc

f23 huh? im not into imports too much, but is the F series the same series thats in the S2000s? but theirs is prolly like F20 or F24 right? i dunno help me out here, lol
