s2000 are one of the worst sportscar made, turbo or supercharged they just cant get that performance gain like other sports cars do.... other than that the jz motor sawp into the s2k is one of the coolest ideas ever for the car.

This is a pretty famous vid in the s2k community. For those that are wondering, this is an early 2.0 liter S2000 (ap1). Gearing on that car limits top speed to 166mph (267kph). The difference here is speedo error (~4%). This car is not stock but supercharged. In general, S2000s (2 liter or 2.2 liter) are drag limited to ~150mph (240kph), but this supercharged car is able to get to gear limited top speed.

ops sorry for the empty message... 280km/h speedclock... means nothing..stock the S2000 goes 240km/h no matter what the speedclock comes up with a fantasy claim. The S2000 has a horrbile airdrag and a giant lift at the rear axle at higher speeds. I have never meet a S2000 on the Autobahn able to follow me. My car goes 160mph or 258km/h and I easy run them away.
