LS1 Hater you are ignorant at best. LS7 is a 427ci Small block for starters. Second yes the Cobras come stock with a blower does that mean you can't tt the car? Fords will always come out on top of what? Maybe if a junkyard made the mistake of putting a crushed mustang on top of a crushed Corvette. Slo94gt your name says it all but 500hp from the 7.0l is modest it's not nearly maxed out. Not to mention it gets better fuel economy than the 4.6 or a 5.4. Someone else said you can make a Cobra run 10's for what you pay for the Vette that is true. But to make the Vette run high 10's just add drag radials and a intake. I got to hand it to the Cobra guys in here though 03 and newer rocks or has the potential to be the fastest street cars in America.

c'mon guys u cant compare a stock cobra to a stock z06. ur comparing a $30000 car to a $70000 car of course the vette is gonna win and it should. if u take the 40grand difference and put it into a stock cobra then you would be able to walk the vette all day... both great cars and nice kill by the cobra

Nice kill by the cobra.. and why does a video like this always turn into a Ford Vs Chevy battle?? CMON PEOPLE GET REAL, they are both AMERICAN MUSCLE!.. Id drive my 06 GT Mustang or any mustang at that anyday over a Chevy, but that doesnt mean id never drive one or i hate it.. I think the z06 is sick.. dont care for the new GTO's.. but its all about opinion.. both cars are respectable especially in this video w/ the power they show..

Everyone on this site needs to stop hating and all that and give props to the cars like the mustangs and the corvettes instead of saying whose is better and name calling.. it seems like everyones a bunch of 10 yr olds on this site..

I never said the LS7 was a small block. I guess some people just have to make excuses for everything. I hate excuses when it comes to racing.

I don't have a Z06 but I have an LS2GTO(forged/stock cubes) APS TT. You should come to the Atlanta area, I'd love to see you destroy me all day.

BTW. When was the last time you checked on the spec's of the motor in the C6 Z06. That right you didn't. It's a SMALL block. It is the same dimentions as the ls1 and is the same weight, just re-sleaved and and stroked to 427ci.
