camaro driver... why are you shifting so quick? It looks like you are shifting around 4500 rpm.

sweet rides. I don't feel like reading through all the comments to see if anyone asked this, but what type of shifter do you have in the stang? Maybe a new shifter would help with the 3rd to 4th shift? Oh btw awesome rims I was just looking at getting some of those for my stang.

Thats the only gear I was letting up on as evident in the vid.. like I said it was transmission related problem stemming from the vibration at speeds in excess of 7,000rpms. thats from the owner of the car who's done tons of troubleshooting and fixing through the years.

So what? It doesn't make any difference if you're always missing the shift... better to make sure it gets into gear by letting up on the pedal than completely missing it... that's from an old dude who's done a lot of quarter miles....

I'd love for you benchracers to get out from behind your keyboards and post a link, IN DETAIL, of how to shift faster than a POWERSHIFT... the TRANS IN MY STANG IS HIT @ WOT 7K shifts...

It looks like some shifting practice is needed.

Dudes... I mean really, learn how to shift those babies...they look pretty close to each other, so its a drivers race....
