I have a 2003 that has a weight of 3650 with driver. It is the power to weight ratio that makes the real difference in racing. If you have a engine that is cranking out 375 /- to the wheels, that car should be doing mid ll's to low to mid 12's depending on suspension setup, wheels/tire combo, gearing and drivers experience. These numbers in HP can be achieved by the Mach1 if the engine is matched with the right sized headers, custom dyno tune, bolt ons( intake spacer, electric w/p or pullies),scraper plate in oil pan, good windage tray, race cams, ported/ extrude honed intake and heads with larger valves.

Because some people (myself included) can't afford to buy everything at the same time. He spent near 10k for the motor. He is going to up the boost when he gets it dyno tuned. He is also going to port the blower.

my lightning nets me consistant 12.0 and 11.9's...on stock block, heads,cams, with 14#'s of boost through a ported eaton. My question is, is why would you buy an expensive JDM block, stage 3 heads and cams, and keep the stock blower, let alone a stock blower at 10#'s! sounds like were not hearing the whole story on the mach...

My mach ran 12.5 @ 109 with bolt-ons so why is that so hard to believe?

Well my buddy has a bolt-on mach that runs 12.2 @112 and the black mach can outrun him. Matter of fact there is a video here of them racing. He has a ported intake man. now too. He has cams,4.10's,full bassani exhaust,DR's,jlt CAI.

Ah, yeah...no way it's a high 11's car with what he has listed...
