The Rx-8 lapped the track faster than the 525hp 66...ouch! I expected that sort of 1/4 mile out of it, it has the hp.

the '66 stang cost more than double the shelby gt500 so this comparo isn't too fair. For the money I would definately take the shelby

The 66 is def a drag car. I couldn't believe it was 3 sec. slower. Still my vote goes to the 66

Evolution Performance has put the GT500 in the 8's with the Whipple Charger. I cant believe that for as heavy as the Shelby is, it's still 250lbs lighter than the SRT lineup!

nice but i kinda agree with whiningcobra. i prefer older mustangs. the new one is a beast but its just a boat with a big engine.
