if some one would build a 5.4 that built challenger will get shamed and bore that 7.0 out it will be a chase for high power and a small 330ci look stroke it bore it port it more power than big motor

36bd9fbd, if you check on 1 of my comments list-click on GT500 and you'll see that the regular GT500 is capable of just barely modded set-up into 725rwhp and 776rwtq. and this 1 is owned by SVTBOOST, so no doubt this 1 is barely maxed out, you could also twin TT that just like the FORDGT and still capable up to 1600hp...

The street version of the Shelby Super Snake has 605 hp and 590 tq This one has been tweaked to the max

Oh, by the way since you got me going on this like the psi boost thing that you are worrying about b/c sure the challenger has a bigger engine than the Shelby GT500, but like they considered that GT500 has better engine package overall and if you are in doubt that Ford needed less boost to be fair w/ the HEMI pls check out www.iconicmotors.com for a 6.9L Naturally Aspirated A.C Cobra "aka" Iconic GTR by ballard design w/c out put 800hp and think what it can perform w/ the superchager installed- maybe would be a fair match to the HEMI since 5.4L was kind a small.....

xHEMI426x, they don't need to build another engine.. being said-that these SVT 5.4 DOHC S/C shares the same SVT concept as to the FORDGT, and from factory w/ upgrade supercharger like KB, or Whipple are capable of 1600hp; the older SVT concept like the lightnings has a thinner bottom ends and that is why in order to make 1600hp you need toughen it up a bit, but that is still the same modular 5.4L and not a 7L, or a V10. So it doesn't matter mechanical failure can happen when its not done right like I told you b/f. In this particular video Mustang Wins and like the Pro Samuel said that the HEMI got overheated and that is why he was obviously babying it a bit through the last turn, but somehow that's what happened here and you just have to get used to it, okay!!! and again its not that I don't believe in your side of the video, but again mechanical errors are bound to happen when its made by a human.

ok 2361d0f9 im shure they can build a motor with 1600hp but while at the track the mustang was running well ovr 12psi and it did ovr heat by the way and also the cost of the mustang is not 70k its way more come on get real and also the challenger was only running 6 psi if we wanted t owe could of put it to 12psi and be runing well ovr 900hp and just kicked the mustangs ass but we wanted to bring a street car that u can drive on the street evry day unlike the mustang. and as for the cost of the challenger it cost us to build it 85k 41k for the vehicle it self and 24 for all the rest of componets we put in it so if u want u can check out my profile and see the proof of the mustang ovr heating and losing to the challenger

78c825f9, those speculations could only be true only if it was not properly done right as far as of the set-up. These 5.4 DOHC S/C are capable of up to 1600hp, Heffner's done it and johnnylightningperformance.com did that over the Built SOHC 5.4 long block,FordGT Block S/C and TT w/ the Lightnings. For sure if w/out any type of supercooler installed that could happen, but I think TQ TV did a great job.
