That V6 is far from garbage, makes a GN go just about as fast as it would with a 350. Although i'd rather have a pushrod V8, simple and easy to work on. I'll take a carbed, non computerized, non emissions compliant, pushrod V8 over a modern SOHC or DOHC engine any day.
