I realy thought that that time would not have been enough to win with, I thought i would need to be under the record of 36.00 and after stalling on the line which affects your concentration then spending too much time still wheel spinning into the first corner, then losing the tail at the top of Eastbrae when getting on the trottle that fraction to early and having to get back out of the throttle again to catch the rear end, it was time lost that i thought i could not afford. So when i had finish the run, sitting there buzzing with adrenalin all i was thinking was it wouldnt be enough, I got out the car and then went and stood with the other drivers to watch the final 2 runners. Trever went up and his time was slower, then it was Martins turn. I was watch the clock beside the finish thinking to my self i cant watch this, the suspence was too much, so i started to wonder back towards my car so the trees would blank my sight from the clock, all the time Jerry the commentator was going on speeking about Martin, then he finished, I ducked my head down to see the clock through the trees and OMG i won!! what a magic feeling, I`m well pleased and realy glad i forgot to switch off my recorder and capture that moment..
