The Supra is known to be a dyno queen because it takes at the very least a $3k turbo swap(ebay special/used) and fuel to achieve numbers easily over 600rwhp. Consider this car has stock pistons, rods, crank and is running pump gas for this race(which is why the Supra is seeing 600rwhp vs 850rwhp) it's no surprise it did not pull harder. I do agree the Supra got the jump by a car or so but someone had to go...the Saleen just sat around after the honks. Oh and who in their right mind would try to compare every aspect of these cars in the first place? I mean come on, The MKIV Supra is almost a 18-19 year old design geared towards being affordable for the masses vs a low production exotic designed from the ground up for performance. Sad the Supra even has a chance IMO.

That Supra is fast ! That Saleen is, well, a Saleen S7. Judging the S7 on the Supra's home turf, (i.e. straight line acceleration) shows that the Supra is amazing. I'm confident that if we were to judge the Supra on the S7's home turf, (i.e. the road course), the results would follow the same pattern . . .
