its not the law to limit them to 186/299. It was a deal made between manufactures bc they were simply bumping up the top speed every yr and it was getting out of control. The law limits you to 65 mph. Every manufacturer ignores this lol.

As far as I know it's not actually a law. The major bike manufacturers made a deal or a pact with each other to limit the top speed to 299km/h. For example the new MV Augusta has a top speed of 312km/h because they didn't make the deal so I'm sure that in the near future the major manufacturers might start ignoring the deal too.

WHY DOES EVERYONE ALWAYS PUT SOME OBNOXIOUS, WAY TOO LOUD MUSIC OVER A PERFECTLY GOOD VID. I'd rather hear the scream of the motor and exhaust than some dumbass metal song. It really ruins the vid. Otherwise, the GSXR1K is one badass machine.

Didn't I just say that or did you not read my reply? Again, the bike did 29 6km/h measured by a GPS, which is accurate.
