and sometimes, depending on the track, its kind of obvious that you would need some extra hp, cuz as he said, sometimes u have to run the track in 4th all around, without the extra hp, where do you think those tires r going to be spinning from?

i understand where u guys are commin from about the 240's, but if you think about it, in that kind of sport, the technology for it is getting better and sooner or later the 240's r going to be a thing of the past considering the kind of cars that r bein put on the track, like honestly who would of thought that a dodge viper of all cars or didge challenger would be an actual drift car worthy of some titles, the 240's and maybe some other japanese cars would be mocked, kind of like a PS2 compared to a PS3, theirs no comparison, i give it 5 more years tops until the 240's start disappearing off the track

Did I hear Matt Ferrehm say something about not seeing 240s on the show, and then laugh as if its not good enough? Dont you know 240s will always be associated with the sport of drifting? Without the 240s and all of the other sport compact japanese cars you would not have a strong, good platform to build upon. So next time you decide to cover an event about "drifting" dont look down on what helped make drifting what it is today.
