you guys are all stupid where do i start.... ok there are plenty of n/a mustangs running in the 9s even some modular 5.4s and oh yea a 4.6 can be stroked to 5.1l jyro 4.6s... but honestly stock 4 stock a 4v 4.6 is just is quick as an ls1 and thats with another 65ci....sad and they respond much better to power adders so are fords better not necessarily..but are they worse... NO and N20lT4 lets see some vids of you running your claimed times without the gas or are you just another tool that has an 88 s-10 and thinks chevys rule

Another major point is , how many years has the small block chevy been race d? Came out in 1955, that makes 51 years for the same basic motor package, there are more parts than you can count made for the SBC. Now count the p arts avilable for the 4.6, real race heads---0, race intakes--1. That and it being 4.6 (280 CI) with no room to stroke it for more cubic inch, the comparison falls short by a mile. the 4.6 was made for Emissions, the SBC was made for power. Joe, you have a really fast car in a class by itself a nd you could point to cars like yours as the very reason heads up racing d ied to bracket racing. I still can't believe a person that put that much t ime and effort into a race car would belittle other people that did the tr ied to do the same
