One more thing add about being disappointed. The GTO that I was racing makes 495 rwhp and ran a best of 12.49 at 117 that day. In the second race, which is the first one in the video, he ran in the 14's because his Nitto drag radials wouldn't stick. I had to convince him to give it another try which is when he ran the 12.49. His quickest run has been a 12.02 at 119 and he makes 35 rwhp more than my Chevelle. To say the least, he's a little frustrated with the car.

So am I. I was hoping for high 11's but there was a lot of wind and it was hot outside. Maybe I'll get it next time. For comparison my Chevelle makes 461 rwhp with a mild 454 but it has run a best of 11.18 at Fontana where I ran the Cobra. This Cobra is my daily driver though so I'm happy that it ran as good as it did without breaking. Plus there was around 400 car's there and only about a dozen that ran faster than I did.
